Countryhouse Renovation in Cortona, Tuscany
This heritage property renovation in Cortona was delivered through a construction-led approach rooted in craftsmanship, precision, and respect for traditional Umbrian architecture. The listed rural home required structural strengthening and a complete internal transformation, carried out with sensitivity to its original stone fabric.
Internally, the focus was on restoring character while elevating quality. Existing stone walls were carefully repaired and repointed by local artisans, timber beams were restored and treated, and new floor build-ups were introduced to improve insulation and long-term performance. The layout was reconfigured to create open, light-filled living spaces, with roof windows and glazed openings integrated seamlessly into the structure.

All joinery, bathrooms, and internal finishes were executed by our in-house craftsmen in collaboration with trusted local suppliers across Tuscany and Umbria. Natural materials, bespoke carpentry, and high-spec finishes were selected for durability and authenticity. Modern heating and cooling systems were discreetly incorporated to ensure year-round comfort without compromising the architectural integrity.
This Cortona renovation reflects our expertise in high-quality property restoration in Tuscany, combining traditional building techniques, local craftsmanship, and contemporary construction standards.
Externally, the project extended to the construction of a 12 x 6 metre swimming pool and landscaped grounds designed to enhance the relationship between the building and its natural surroundings.
This Cortona renovation showcases our expertise in restoring historic properties in Tuscany and Umbria, combining robust construction methods with refined detailing and contemporary building performance.
